SUMMARY: Blue Lock follows 300 Japanese High Schoolers with aspirations of being professional football/soccer players who enter a 'Squid Games'/'Battle Royale' style training facility to create the world's best striker. Only one will be chosen and as players get disqualified through the various selection processes, they will be barred from playing on Japan's national team. Nagi, a lazy but natural genius, only entered at the behest of his bestie Reo as they work towards a shared goal of being the best in the world and winning the world cup.

Besides that obvious ship being my fave though I am totally open to shipping things with canon and cross-canon characters, whether its an established CR/relationship type deal for some quick and easy fun or some delicious 500k slowburn fic mode because let's face it... dude's a little slow on the emotional cues... M/M shipping because a) its blue lock and b) nagi? talk to a woman? lol

CANON POINT: I am current on both the manga and anime, and Episode Nagi, so canon point really depends on who the thread is with and what we are going for, but I can work with anything! Just let me know if you have a preference, otherwise I tend to stick to either current manga arc or episode nagi era.

Nagi is an unnaturally talented soccer player with amazing reflexes, good speed, and jumping skills who at his core is a very lazy and unmotivated person. As long as Nagi can get a good job and keep living a lax life he is fine with doing anything, he never had much of a drive. Despite starting football he initially does not want to put in any effort into it such as training and belittles those who are weak and talentless at the game. He does not even know much about the best football players in the world, much to the chagrin of his competitors. Initially, he is shown as indifferent to playing soccer and becoming the best striker, and would rather play video games or skip training.
